Rapid City Regional Airport Breaks Annual Passenger Record

(Rapid City, SD) — The Rapid City Regional Airport is saying 2025 was its busiest year yet. Airport officials say they hosted more than 452-thousand passengers in 2025 compared to around 427-thousand in 2024. It was an increase of just under six-percent. The airport’s executive director says the numbers show airlines see long-term value in serving the region. The airport generates an estimated 500-million dollars in annual economic impact for the state.
