(Bismarck, ND) — Police say Matthew Bruhn is responsible for a standoff on Grant Marsh Bridge on Friday. Bruhn is accused of attempting to rob a CVS pharmacy with a knife before stealing a truck, ramming into police vehicles and triggering a standoff that lasted two hours on Interstate 94. He was eventually arrested after SWAT deployed a chemical irritant into the vehicle and detained him using K-9 officers. Bruhn is facing six felony charges including robbery, theft, criminal mischief, fleeing and driving with a suspended license. He’s scheduled to appear in court on February 23rd.
