(Pierre, SD) — Three bills proposed by State Attorney General Marty Jackley are moving to the state Senate. Jackley says the bills are designed to protect people, especially young people from online threats. One bill gives subpoena authority to investigators over certain business records. Another regulates THC products for people under the age of 21 and the third bill protects privacy of certain genetic data. Jackley has proposed 10 legislative bills and six of them have passed their first legislative committee hearings.
