(Kyle, SD) — A fire at a senior living complex in Kyle has multiple organizations helping displaced families. The fire erupted early on Wednesday morning and displaced more than 60 people, including 20 families. Most of their belongings were burned to ash. The Oglala Sioux Tribe Emergency Management Office says the families have both long- and short-term needs, including hygiene supplies, blankets, sleeping bags, towels and nonperishable food. The American Red Cross and Salvation Army are among the organizations providing items for the families.
