(Fargo, ND) — Rick Berg will serve as the interim president of North Dakota State University. The State Board of Higher Education says Berg will take over for David Cook, effective February 9th. Cook is leaving to become President at Iowa State University. The State Board of Higher Education says they will continue searching for a permanent president and will likely decide on one in late spring. Berg is a former U.S. congressman and state legislator.
