(Rapid City, SD) — A man is facing prison time for scamming a woman out of over 100-thousand dollars. Abdul Waheed Mohammad was sentenced in federal court Monday to five years in prison for collecting nearly 110-thousand dollars in cash and gold in 2023. Mohammad was also ordered to complete psychological treatment and pay 163-thousand dollars in restitution. An accomplice was sentenced to 63 months in prison in October.
