(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley is joining an AI deepfake lawsuit. Wrigley is joining 34 other states demanding Elon Musk’s xAI takes immediate action to stop the Grok chatbot from creating nonconsensual sexual images of real people. A letter sent to xAI dated January 23rd says the coalition is deeply concerned. A recent analysis says more than half of the 20-thousand images generated by Grok between Christmas and New Year’s depicted subjects in minimal attire. The attorneys allege the images are a feature of the product, not a bug.
