(Pierre, SD) — Dusty Johnson is the first candidate for governor to file his year-end campaign finance report. Johnson is South Dakota’s only member in the U.S. House of Representatives and filed his report on Thursday. It shows he’s received more than one-point-six million dollars during 2025 and spent more than 650-thousand. Four Republicans have announced their candidacy in the June 2nd primary election. The deadline is 5:00 p.m. Friday for incumbent Governor Larry Rhoden, state House Speaker Jon Hansen and businessman Toby Doeden to file their reports.
