(Minot, ND) — Classes are resuming after going into lockdown for threats on the Minot Air Force Base Schools. School officials said students remained safe the entire time and that one individual was detained around 12:15 p.m. Security sweeps were made as a precautionary measure. Some parents rushed to the school when they heard it went into lockdown in fear of a school shooting incident. The Ward County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the threat response and said no one was injured during the incident.
