(Brookings, SD) — Two men are facing felony charges for animal cruelty in Brookings. Billy Bamsey and Tyshawn Mott were taken into custody on February 1st and three pitbull-mix dogs were seized by the city. They were each charged with three counts of felony cruelty to animals and three counts of inhumane care of animals, a misdemeanor. Both were taken to Brookings County Detention Center. A court date has not been set.
