Fort Thompson Man Sentenced For Distributing Meth

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Fort Thompson man will serve more than 11 years in prison for distributing meth. Dillon Big Eagle was sentenced on Monday to federal prison after pleading guilty to distributing a controlled substance in November. It is believed Big Eagle and several others were involved in a conspiracy to distribute meth through central South Dakota, including the Crow Creek and Sioux Indian Reservations. He was accused of distributing more than 500 grams of the drug. He was also ordered to pay a one-thousand dollar fine.
