Williston To Spend $50k On Community Enhancement Projects

(Williston, ND) — The City of Williston is spending 50-thousand dollars on different community projects. The STAR Fund Advisory Board reviewed 39 applications from programs requesting help with funding before deciding on 25 finalists. Williston Mayor Howard Klug says many of the projects are focused on the youth of the community. “It’s encouraging to see just how invested our community is in supporting the next generation,” Klug said in a press release. The three largest awards are going to the Williston Basin Skating Club, Good Samaritan Club and Miss ND Scholarship Organization with each receiving four-thousand dollars apiece.
