(Williston, ND) — An 18-year-old is pleading not guilty to 14 felony charges stemming from a pair of vehicle thefts. Prosecutors say one of the vehicles had several firearms and ammo inside. Schuyler Peterson is scheduled to go on trial in May for the two incidents. He allegedly told police he wanted to see how fast one of the vehicles would go and got stuck in it. They also say that Peterson gave the firearms to another person to give back to the owner in hopes that he wouldn’t be charged.
