(Minot, ND) — The local economic impact from Minot Air Force Base is growing. The base reports having a total economic impact of more than 950-million dollars for the fiscal year of 2025. In fiscal year 2024, that number was closer to 651-million. The increase comes despite the base housing 400 less people than last year. The Minot Area Chamber says it reiterates what the community already knows: the Minot Air Force Base is essential to the city’s economy.
