(Bismarck, ND) — One person is recovering and two cats are dead after a home fire in Bismarck. It happened on Wednesday night on the 400 block of West Avenue C. The fire is believed to have started in the basement laundry room and extended into the kitchen. Four dogs were rescued from the home. Firefighters believe the fire was accidental.
