Two people were killed in a head-on collision on US 83 south of Wilton Sunday morning.
Conditions at the time were foggy and wet.
The Highway Patrol says a 2021 GMC Acadia driven by an 80 year old Williston woman was southbound in the northbound lanes of highway 83, about six miles south of Wilton. It struck a northbound 2016 Nissan Maxima, driven by a 21 year old Bismarck woman.
The crash happened around 10:30 am.
Both drivers were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, where they were pronounced dead.
The Patrol is investigating.
