(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota State University is making the jump to the Football Bowl Subdivision. An agreement has been reached for the FCS powerhouse to join the Mountain West Conference as a football-only member in 2026. NDSU becomes the tenth member of the reorganized conference as several previous members departed for the Pac 12. NDSU will remain in the Summit League for all other sports except for wrestling where they compete in the Big 12.
