(Pierre, SD) — Governor Larry Rhoden is planning to sign a bill removing silencers from the controlled weapons list. He’s scheduled to sign the bill on Tuesday. The state Senate unanimously passed the measure 34-to-zero during a recent session. Despite being removed from the state’s controlled weapons list, they are still regulated by federal law.
