(Jamestown, ND) — Helene Neville is the third Democrat to announce her bid for the U.S. House. Neville is a Jamestown resident and former travel nurse, running on a healthy living platform. She joins a field on the left that includes former House candidate Trygve Hammer and former state lawmaker Vern Thompson. Incumbent Republican Julie Fedorchak is looking to retain her seat but faces a primary challenger in Alex Balazs. Neville says she has been participating in the Emerge America program, which recruits and trains women to run for office and assist with campaigns.
