(Pine Ridge, SD) — A man will serve 19 years in federal prison for trafficking meth and other charges. James Shangreaux pleaded guilty in September to methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy and possessing a firearm during a drug crime. Investigators say he would travel to places like Colorado where he would wire money to suppliers. The investigation began after Shangreaux was taken into custody following a police pursuit. He was found at the end of the chase with drugs and a pistol and he is believed to be a leader in a larger operation.
