(Bismarck, ND) — The state of North Dakota is offering an incentive for employees to quit. It’s the third time this decade the North Dakota Office of Management and Budget is offering a voluntary separation incentive to help reduce the cost of government. Employees would be granted three months salary and benefits for quitting. One of the conditions is that the department must prove that letting the employee go will provide savings going forward. The offer is in anticipation of lower revenue than predicted over the next several years.
