(Parker, SD) — Officials are saying the Turner County Courthouse construction project is close to finishing. The new structure will have more safety and security features than the old one. Officials say the building is now enclosed and all that remains is to finish work on the inside of the building. One key design feature is that inmates will no longer have to walk past judges in the hallways, according to a county commissioner. Construction is on track to be completed by mid-to-late summer.
