(Brookings County, SD) — An ATV is stuck in Oak Lake after crashing through the ice on Monday. Brookings County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered the four wheeler half-way submerged and determined they could not retrieve it until ice conditions improve. They are reminding people not to go on the ice with the current weather. They say that conditions across the surface of the lake can vary and ice thickness can change quickly. Temperatures are expected to reach a high near 60 degrees on Tuesday.
