(Pierre, SD) — Billy Mawhiney is ending his bid for a seat in Congress. Mawhiney, a Democrat, said his campaign left him with little time for his family and work. He said he was guided by truth in determining he should end his campaign. There are still five candidates in the race, including two Democrats and three Republicans. Nicole Gronli and Scott Schlagel are the two Democrats remaining, while James Bialota, Casey Crabtree and Marty Jackley are all running on the Republican side.
