(Minot, ND) — Highway Patrol is increasing the amount of troopers on Highway 83 in Minot. A lieutenant with the law enforcement organization says the officers will be concentrated in a 70-mile-an-hour zone where a driver was recently clocked at 114. There was also a recent citation of a driver going 91 in a 55-mile-an-hour zone on the same highway. The agency says they’ve also received more complaints recently of speeding and crashes at the intersection of Highway 83 and Highway 23, just south of Minot.
