South Dakota Joins Coalition To Reduce Access To Abortions

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is joining a coalition to restrict abortion access. The coalition was formed by a lawsuit submitted by the state of Louisiana. It challenges a Food and Drug Administration decision to expand access to abortion care through mail and telehealth. Jackley says the rule contradicts South Dakota state law. A brief written by the Nebraska Attorney General was supported by 22 other attorneys general.
