(Rapid City, SD) — An expansion project at the Rapid City Regional Airport is being unanimously approved by the city council. The project will pull 44-million dollars from the Vision Fund to add five new gates to the terminal. Overall, the project will cost about 100-million dollars. City Council members voted on the plan on Tuesday night. They also approved a separate 39-million dollar project for a new fleet maintenance and fire facility.
