(Minot, ND) — Ward County leaders are considering a roundabout at the intersection of County Roads 17 and 14. The County Highway Department says the intersection keeps showing up on crash reports and engineers say a roundabout would be the best way to make it safer. A meeting was held on Tuesday to listen to public input. The most prominent concern was the functionality of the roundabout for large trucks and heavy equipment. Engineers said those concerns have been taken into account and they hope to start construction in the summer of 2027.
