(Washington, DC) — Governor Kelly Armstrong is staying busy in Washington D.C. during the National Governors Association meetings. He is joining fellow state executives calling to codify national energy permit reforms that have seen wild swings over the past several administrations. Armstrong used the Keystone XL Pipeline as an example of a project that had a choppy existence until it was halted by President Biden in 2021. President Trump has halted several projects to build renewable energy sources. Armstrong also appeared on C-SPAN’s weekly program “Ceasefire” saying law enforcement in North Dakota is committed to working with federal authorities conducting immigration operations.
