(Medora, ND) — The State Department of Transportation is changing some speed limits on Interstate 94. The roadway in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park used to be 80 miles an hour throughout before it was reduced to 70 in certain sections with a lot of curves. After complaints by the public, the DOT took a closer look at those sections and decided to return most of them back to 80. Now, there is just one section that will remain a 70-mile-an-hour zone and that is just west of the first exit to Medora.
