(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck travel agent is facing a three-year prison sentence for embezzling over 100-thousand dollars. Stacey Vanderkinter was sentenced for five counts of theft over three incidents where she failed to pay for travel expenses for customers who paid her. She pleaded guilty to charges in November. Vanderkinter admitted to gambling away the money and as part of her sentence, she is required to see a mental health professional.
