(Huron, SD) – A staff member at Huron Middle School is facing charges related to child porn. Richard Hotchkiss was taken into custody after being discovered from a cyber tip by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search warrant of Hotchkiss’s phone found more than 30 images of child porn through text messages in 2016. Some of the messages involved girls as young as six years old. The school district issued a statement to Dakota News Now stating they don’t believe any students at the school were victims and Hotchkiss is no longer allowed on school grounds.
