(Bismarck, ND) — A Carson man is facing life in prison without parole after being convicted of sex crimes. Andrew Helgeson was found guilty in October of two counts of gross sexual imposition but acquitted for two others. He was sentenced this week. Investigators say Helgeson inappropriately touched a victim in a hotel room in Bismarck with a victim who was under the age of 15. He was also ordered to complete sex offender treatment while in prison.
