(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Industrial Commission is providing 40-million dollars for sustainable energy projects. AmeriCarbon Forge LLC will be using 30-million dollars to build a facility to produce Eco-Pitch, which is used as coal-tar alternative. Ore Spring Materials will be using more than a million dollars for a rare earth mineral project near Underwood. Another twelve-million will be going to Packet Digital to support its lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Fargo. The commission said in a statement, “the projects approved today will ensure that the future of North Dakota’s energy industry remains resilient and sustainable.”
