(Rapid City, SD) — New data from Rapid City shows the city’s sales tax revenues are up five-percent. The city collected more than 91-point-eight million in 2025 compared to 87-point-five million in 2024. December saw an all-time high for collections with more than ten-point-two million collected. Rapid City Finance Director Daniel Ainslie says money, “highlights the importance that shopping locally, visitor attraction and construction has on our local economy and city capital improvement projects.”
