(Pierre, SD) — Governor Larry Rhoden is releasing a map outlining savings for each county under his proposed tax cuts. The bill was introduced on January 16th and would give counties the option to replace property taxes with a half-cent sales tax. Rhoden says it would help counties bring in more revenue from tourists and out-of-state visitors. The bill is currently working its way through the state House.
