(Williston, ND) — Rep. Julie Fedorchak says Washington is taking steps for a more competitive oil market. This comes on the heels of her visit to the Bakken last week. Fedorchak spoke with oil producers and providers and heard their concerns about low oil production. “After visiting with our producers and a lot of the service providers, they are preparing for, kind of, a long spell of lower prices,” she says. Fedorchak adds that she was told that numbers are stabilizing but providers are still pushing to do everything they can to improve efficiencies.
