(Washington DC) — Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer are saying the U.S. strikes on Iran are justified. Hoeven called Iran the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and Cramer said the strikes followed repeated warnings to the country to stop building its nuclear capabilities. Represenative Julie Fedorchak also supported Operation Epic Fury, saying that President Trump made “decisive actions,” in response to the country’s terrorism and nuclear ambitions. The strikes by the U.S. and Israel killed the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei on the first day. Three U.S. service members were killed in the attacks and five others were seriously wounded.
