(Pierre, SD) — Attorney General Marty Jackley’s bill to prohibit campaign contributions by foreign nationals is advancing. The bill was unanimously approved by the State House Affairs Committee on Monday. It already received unanimous approval by the state Senate. If it passes through the House and is signed by Governor Rhoden, it would go into effect for the 2026 election.
