(Pierre, SD) — Four bills were signed into law by Governor Larry Rhoden on Monday. The first adjusts provisions related to state financial practices. Another appropriates funds to construct an indoor athletics facility at Dakota State University. The other two bills amend reversion dates for renovations at the Cultural Heritage Center and change provisions for licensing public accountants. Rhoden has signed 66 bills into law this session and vetoed only one. He is considering a second veto on a bill that would prevent SNAP recipients from purchasing soda with food stamps.
