(Pierre, SD) — A bill to create a five-year moratorium on lab-grown meat products is advancing. The House Agriculture Committee passed the bill on Tuesday. Governor Larry Rhoden vetoed a similar bill that called for a total ban on the products earlier this year. It was his only veto so far this session. He said at the time the bill placed, “an undue burden on interstate commerce.”
