(Bismarck, ND) — State House Minority Leader Zac Ista of Grand Forks is not running for reelection. The Democratic-NPL party issued a statement announcing his decision on Tuesday, saying he wants to spend time with his family while his children are young. He’s served as House Minority Leader since 2023. Ista said he considered his time in the state House, “a great honor.”
