(Sioux Falls, SD) — A barricaded suspect is in custody after an hours-long standoff on Wednesday. It happened at an apartment near 26th Street and South Melanie Lane. Police closed 26th Street between South Judy Avenue and South Sycamore Avenue during the incident. Police say the suspect eventually exited the apartment around 1:15 p.m. after a warrant was served around 10:00 a.m. Christopher Becker was taken into custody and arrested for obstructing law enforcement and a parole violation.
