Great Plains Food Bank Requests $250K From City Of Bismarck

(Bismarck, ND) — A food pantry is requesting 250-thousand dollars over five years from the city of Bismarck. Bismarck’s City Commission is considering the request from the Great Plains Food Bank. It’s based out of Fargo but runs a distribution center in Bismarck. Food bank representatives say the money would stay in Bismarck. Last year, Great Plains provided more than two-million pounds of food to residents in Bismarck alone.
