(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Public Service Commission is considering requests for two new transmission lines. The hearings are scheduled for March 17th and March 20th at the Divide County Courthouse and Ray Auditorium, respectively. The lines are both being requested by the Basin Electric Power Cooperative and would run from the northwest part of the state to the Canadian border. The first would be about 53-miles long in Divide and Williams counties. The second would be about 58-miles long through Burke, Divide and Mountrail counties.
