(Morton County, ND) — The Public Service Commission is considering a wind farm proposal in Morton County. The build is being proposed by Minnesota Power north of Glen Ullin along State Highway 49. They are planning to build 45 turbines that would generate 200 megawatts of power. A hearing has been set for May 18th at the Glen Ullin City Auditorium. Minnesota Power says they already have a special use permit from the Morton County Commission.
