Levi Bachmeier Launches Campaign For ND Superintendent Of Public Instruction

(Bismarck, ND) — The Superintendent of Public Instruction has launched a campaign to lead the state’s Department of Public Instruction. Levi Bachmeier says his platform is a “back to basics” approach focused on strong schools, supporting teachers, engaging families and setting higher expectations for students. He said his campaign is built on the idea that “North Dakota thrives when its kids thrive.” Bachmeier says his goal is to ensure students are prepared for college, careers, military service and “success in life.” If elected, he says his priorities will include improving student outcomes, keeping partisan politics out of classrooms and promoting parental rights, among other things.
