(Minot, ND) — Minot’s Roosevelt Park Zoo is getting some conservation funding from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The organization is providing the money through the Party for the Planet grant program. The zoo will use the investment to pair families, volunteers, and school groups with experts in trail improvement and native plants to restore 14 acres of pollinator habitat. Roosevelt Park Zoo is one of 13 facilities to receive a grant through the initiative this year.
