(Grant County, ND) — A Raleigh man is in custody for fleeing from officers and resisting arrest. Officers attempted to make contact with Kasey Bachmeier after he had been seen near the site of a recent burglary. When officers converged on him, he backed into a utility pole causing a power outage and sped off for about 20 blocks before coming to a stop. All four of Bachmeier’s tiers were deflated during the initial interaction. Bachmeier also fled during a separate incident on February 28th.
