Nebraska Signs HC Fred Hoiberg To Extension

(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska is rewarding its head men’s basketball coach with a new contract. The school announced that the Cornhuskers and Fred Hoiberg have agreed to a three-year contract extension after his team had a record-setting 15 wins in Big Ten Conference play this season. Hoiberg is now under contract through the 2031-32 season after previously signing a two-year extension in 2024. The Huskers have won 20-plus games in three straight seasons for the first time in school history and wrapped up the regular season this year with a 26-and-5 record.
